The microneedling procedure creates tiny, microscopic punctures in the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. The pen used for micro needling has extremely fine needles that range in diameter from 0.5-2.5mm. These “punctures” are more like pin pricks, and only go surface-level deep into the skin. Microneedling offers fairly immediate results. Even after your first treatment you will look plump, luminous, and pink for at least a couple of weeks. However, it also provides lasting results over time. According to a 2008 study, "skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing treatment.” Microneedling is used to treat: - Large pores - Fine lines and wrinkles - Scars - Sagging skin -And YES, microneedling can reduce the appearance of cellulite! Downtime for this procedure varies from client to client. Redness can last anywhere from an hour to a couple of days.
